Chapter 1 of Queen and Queen

Queen Shira: Eclaire, my most beloved daughter there is something I wish to discuss with you before the joust begins.... Princess Eclaire: Yes, what is it lady mother? Queen Shira: It is upon the unsettled matter of you being betrothed, it has been finalized that you will be married to our honored guest and heir to the elven kingdome Prince Angelo.

 Princess Eclaire: Lady mother I do not believe this is a wise choice and I do not agree. Queen Shira: This is the best choice for the political advancement of our country we need this alliance and you have no choice in this, it is your duty as a Princess to do what is best for your kingdome. Nadia Whispers: Prince Angelo!? You surely jest.

 Princess Eclaire: I do not wish to marry him mother I do not love him I scarcely know anything of him how could you make this decision without first consulting me!? Queen Shira: Daughter it is for the good of our kingdome and it cannot be changed one day you will understand my reasons and thank me for it.

 Princess Eclaire: I will never understand why you could be so callous as to promise me to a complete stranger mother and I will most certainly never thank you!

Nadia: Hark, Looks unto me that the Princess Eclaire does not rejoice at the news of her betrothal to thee hahaahah nahhh Prince Angelo: HOW DARE YOU!!!???

Prince Angelo:How dare you speak to me thus you lowly Kitrine, you have forgotten your place and status! I shall have you thrown in the dungeon and flogged for a week for this outrageous disrespect for Royalty!

 Princess Eclaire: And you forget your place Prince Angelo you are an honored guest and that alone you do not rule here and it is I that says what is to be done with my servants not you I suggest you remember this for any other time you have mind to punish someone who is not under your charge. Prince Angelo: Then I trust you to take the appropriate action. Princess Eclaire: Indeed.

 Princess Eclaire: Can you believe his audacity!? His pigheadedness! He is only marrying me for the wealth of our Kingdome it is a well known fact that the Elven treasury is nearly empty and grows barer every passing month with the horrible gambling habits of their King.

 Princess Eclaire: *Sniffle* I just don't know why mother would do such a horrible thing to me Nadia I have always been a most obedient and loving daughter to her, How could she be so cruel? Nadia: Your Highness do not despair we will find a way to make this bearable and mayhap have a little sport as well. =)

Princess Eclaire: Oh Nadia I can always count on you to turn a hail storm into a spring morning, sometimes I feel you are the only one in this kingdome that cares for me or for what I have to say about anything. You are such a good friend. Nadia: And you are my closest friend your highness I will always be here for you.
